RF Studio 53 is An AI-Powered Creative Studio CommPRO

Ruder Finn's 53rd Street NYC headquarters served as inspiration for the name.

Ruder Finn, a leading independent global communications and creative agency, has unveiled its latest venture, RF Studio 53. The new studio aims to merge the imagination of Ruder Finn's creative studios with the innovation power of Ruder Finn's TechLab to usher in a new era of AI-driven creativity.

The name "Studio 53" was inspired by Ruder Finn's dynamic and collaborative 53rd Street NYC headquarters, which serves as the innovation hub for the agency worldwide. Kathy Bloomgarden, CEO of Ruder Finn, highlighted that the world of communication is undergoing a transformation with the rise of AI and other technologies. In response, RF Studio 53 intends to leverage the potential of AI to enhance creative storytelling and engage audiences across emerging tech platforms.

Michael Schubert, Ruder Finn's Chief Innovation Officer, emphasized that AI should complement and enhance creativity rather than replace it. The studio aims to explore the intersection between human imagination and digital intelligence to push the boundaries of creative expression.

RF Studio 53 will bring together the creative and tech teams from recently acquired Osmosis Films and SPI Group, along with Ruder Finn's design and video teams from the US and UK, and developers from Ruder Finn's TechLab teams in the US and India. The amalgamation of these talents, totaling over 70 individuals, will be led by Zach Russo, Creative Director from Osmosis Films, Tejas Totade, Chief Technology Officer of Ruder Finn, James Koppenal, Managing Director of SPI Group, and Lee Manning, Global Head of Design at Ruder Finn UK.

Zach Russo, Head of RF Studio 53, expressed excitement about merging storytelling, technology, and design, which will lead to innovative creative solutions across various formats, including design, video, web, and immersive experiences through AR/VR and other emerging technologies, made smarter and faster with the integration of AI.

Tejas Totade, Head of Technology at RF Studio 53, highlighted the studio's independence and its focus on embracing trailblazing technologies like AI and spatial computing to create breakthroughs for their clients.

RF Studio 53 will offer clients a full spectrum of creative services, including design, branding, short and long-form video, websites, apps, and immersive experiences in AI/AR to metaverse. Meanwhile, RF TechLab will continue its role as Ruder Finn's technology and analytics incubator, and Osmosis Films will remain an independent label producing original content across film and emerging platforms.
