Celebrating the Perfection of Women

August 26th, is Women's Equality Day - and what a great time to recognize and celebrate the perfection of women!

In society, women are often undervalued and underestimated, but it is time to recognize and celebrate their perfection. From their unique perspectives to their immense contributions in all walks of life, there are numerous reasons why we women are perfect.

We're innovators.

Women have made indelible contributions in various fields. From Marie Curie, who revolutionized the field of radioactivity, to Ada Lovelace, who is considered the world's first computer programmer, women have left an indelible mark on science, technology, literature, arts, and many other disciplines.

Women bring a fresh perspective and unique creativity to any endeavor they undertake. Our innovative thinking and problem-solving skills have led to groundbreaking inventions, artistic masterpieces, and transformative ideas. Women continuously challenge conventions and offer fresh insights, enriching the world with their creativity and imagination.

We make companies more profitable.

The Anita Borg Institute for Women and Technology, published a paper called The Case for Investing in Women detailing the huge difference that women make in the workforce. One of their findings is that in Fortune 500 companies with at least three female directors, the return on invested capital jumped over 66%, return on sales went up 42%, and return on equity increased by 53%.

We build inclusive cultures.

Watch our body language and you'll see that women send more nonverbal signals of engagement and inclusion.

We're known to foster growth, empower and inspire others to reach their full potential. Whether it is in a professional setting, a community organization, or even within their own families, women have a profound impact on the well-being and success of those they interact with.

Various workplace studies have also concluded that organizations with an inclusive company culture find it far easier to employ and retain workers. One Gallup study also found that employee turnover is 22 percent lower at companies with a diverse make up as opposed to those without.

We foster collaboration.

Women excel in collaborative work environments, valuing teamwork, and inclusive decision-making processes. We bring people together, foster collaboration, and create harmonious relationships. Through an emphasis on cooperation and nurturing collaboration, women have the ability to bridge gaps and build strong networks of support and solidarity. A 2007 London Business School found that psychological safety, team experimentation and team efficiency are at a peak with a 50 percent female workforce.

We make teams smarter.

There’s little correlation between a group’s collective intelligence and the IQs of its individual members. But if a group includes more women, its collective intelligence rises. In fact, an economist from Carnegie Mellon found that teams that included at least one female member had a collectively higher IQ than teams that had just men.

We're better at reading body language.

Women tend to be more attentive and intuitive when it comes to decoding nonverbal signals, enabling them to better understand the underlying messages and emotions being conveyed. We tend to be more socially oriented, seeking connection and understanding with others. This inclination towards social interaction and connection provides us with extensive practice and experience in reading body language.

Body language savvy can be advantageous in various aspects of life, including relationships, professional settings, and everyday social interactions. In the workplace, women's superior ability to interpret body language can make us effective leaders, negotiators, and collaborators. Understanding the non-verbal cues of our colleagues and clients allows us to better comprehend and respond to their needs and concerns. This skill can lead to stronger teamwork, improved decision-making, and successful business interactions.

So, Happy Women's Equality Day to all you Perfect Women! It is your unique strengths, resilience, and unwavering determination that continue to inspire and pave the way for a brighter future.
