About Our Guest

Peter Rush has carved out a unique professional niche in the world of communications and association management. A seasoned counselor, his clients have ranged from AT&T to AlliedSignal to the U.S. Department of Energy and the United States Environmental Protection Agency, as well as dozens of trade and professional organizations. His international accomplishments include a worldwide branding campaign in the automotive industry including programs in China, Japan, Russia, and Europe for a global commodities trade association. He focuses on the strategic position of clients in their market. 

He has developed complete programs including branding, positioning, sponsorships and measurement at both a national and international level. His work on solar and alternative energy won the highest national award for the public relations industry—The Silver Anvil. He is a frequent speaker at association and industry events in the United States, Europe, and China.
A graduate of Brown University with a degree in International Relations and a Master's Degree from the University of Florida. Mr. Rush served in the Peace Corps in Africa. He began his career as a journalist with the New York Times Company and as a magazine editor at Harcourt Brace. He is the author of the award-winning novels Wild World and Young Americans.
