About Our Guest

Fraser P. Seitel was senior vice president and public affairs director of The Chase Manhattan Bank under three chief executive officers, David Rockefeller, Bill Butcher, and Tom Labrecque. He was an adjunct professor of public relations at the Graduate School of Professional Studies at New York University for 15 years.  He is the author of The Practice of Public Relations, the 14th edition of which was published in 2020 by Pearson. He is co-author, with John Doorley, of Rethinking Reputation: How PR Trumps Advertising and Marketing in the New Media World, published in 2012 by Palgrave Macmillan, and IdeaWise with Steve Rivkin, published by John Wiley in 2002. PR Week Magazine named Mr. Seitel one of the “100 Most Distinguished Public Relations Professionals of the 20th Century.” Mr. Seitel has been a columnist at odwyerpr.com for three decades and a frequent television and radio contributor.
