PRSA Foundation to Host “Diverse Voices” Webinar on May 8th, 2018

Communications Leaders to Discuss Diversity Challenges Facing Industry 

While it is widely known that people of color are underrepresented in the communications industry, the actual numbers are staggering: less than 23% of PR pros represent a diverse population, according to the PRSA Foundation. To help combat this challenge, a panel of communications industry leaders will participate in the Foundation’s “Diverse Voices: From Advocacy to Action” webinar on May 8th from 9:30 to 10:30 am ET.The wide-ranging discussion will focus on tangible actions that can be taken to help improve today’s diversity issues. Proceeds from the webinar will be used to directly and positively impact lives through grants and scholarships designed to jump-start the careers of promising students from diverse backgrounds.
