PRSA-NY Unveils 2024 Big Apple Awards Shortlist, Spotlighting Innovation and Mentorship in PR

The Public Relations Society of America’s New York chapter (PRSA-NY) has unveiled the shortlist for the 2024 Big Apple Awards, celebrating excellence in public relations across the New York region. The winners will be announced at the 2024 Big Apple Awards on Wednesday, October 30, at Manhatta in New York City.

This year’s event, themed “Collaboration and Innovation,” focuses on the industry’s efforts to foster mentorship and forward-thinking solutions for the future. The shortlist recognizes leading public relations agencies and organizations that have demonstrated innovation and impact in their respective fields. Among the nominees are major brands and campaigns from 360PR+, HUNTER, Diffusion PR, and more.

Notable entries include campaigns like “Salad and Go Turns Receipts to Greens” by 360PR+, and “Lysol Debuts ‘Air-aoke’ Pop-Up” by HUNTER. Additionally, highlights from the “Best Use of Spokesperson/Influencer” category include 360PR+ for its collaboration with Little Leaf Farms and AGEAN Public Relations for Priceline’s “Eras to End Zone” challenge.

The event is generously sponsored by several key industry players, including 360PR+, Burson, HUNTER, PRophet, Edelman, Notified, The Art Stevens Group, and Hill & Knowlton.

The Big Apple Awards luncheon will also feature the 15 Under 35 Awards, sponsored by PRophet, which recognizes emerging talent in the industry. This year’s focus on collaboration and innovation reflects the industry's commitment to mentorship, creativity, and driving the public relations field forward.
