Kelly Funke started her career in content creation 36 hours after she graduated college wayyyyyy back in 1993, when she hopped a plane to Los Angeles for an unpaid internship with a then unknown film producer, Cary Woods, who worked at then unknown movie studio, Miramax Films.  She had two tours of duty in Hollywood over the course of 15 years and had the privilege of working on the first (or second) films of over 16 writers and directors, including M. Night Shyamalan, Alexander Payne, James Mangold, Jon Favreau, Doug Liman, and Scott Rosenberg.  She also had the pleasure of working with several first time authors on their earliest novels, including Michael Punke, whose first book, THE REVENANT, was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Picture in 2016.

In 2007, Ms. Funke returned to her home state of NJ and segued her work into national politics, first during the ’08 Obama election cycle for the US Senate seat up for grabs and then on the ’09 Gubernatorial race for Chris Christie.

For the last six years, Ms. Funke has worked for the 105 year old brand FILA, first bringing their Ecommerce division into the 21st century and then building an in house advertising agency from scratch to support the rapidly changing and expanding brand and business initiatives in North America.

Prior to St. Jude, Ingmire served at the University of Chicago managing research findings and programs with impact on local and global communities. Ingmire also served as the director of media relations at JAMAthe Journal of the American Medical Association – in Chicago, where she was responsible for international media relations outreach for the ten medical journals published by the American Medical Association.

 

 

Larry ShawLarry Shaw – Digital Producer, ABC News

Larry is an award winning producer and editor for network broadcasts of all varieties.  He has been with ABC for 35 years.  Prior to becoming the Manager of Editing Operations for ABC News Washington Bureau he produced forGood Morning America, This Week with George Stephanopoulos, World News Tonight with David Muir, World News with Diane Sawyer, World News Tonight with Charles Gibson and World News Tonight with Peter Jennings.  As a member of the White House Press Corps he covered and traveled with both President Clinton and President George W. Bush.  Larry has been a key player transitioning the ABC News Washington Bureau production editing workflow as they moved from analog tape to non-linear digital and now to a completely file based workflow.
