"Drag Latina" Celebrates Diversity and Representation In a Fabulous Season 2

Revry and Latino Alternative Television (LATV) are back with a bang, announcing the highly anticipated season two premiere of "Drag Latina," the groundbreaking bilingual drag competition series. As the LGBTQ+ community continues to strive for visibility and representation in media, "Drag Latina" shines as a beacon of inclusion, celebrating the intersectionality of Latine drag culture.

Sponsored by CeraVe and featuring challenges presented by Verizon, this six-episode extravaganza promises to captivate audiences with its vibrant and diverse cast. "Drag Latina" is co-produced by Revry and Latino Alternative Television, and it's set to air on Revry starting November 26th, followed by its broadcast on Latino Alternative Television on November 28th.

Bigger, Bolder, and More Fabulous Than Ever

With a fresh lineup of ten extravagant competitors, "Drag Latina" Season 2 is poised to deliver even more jaw-dropping runway looks, electrifying lip-sync battles, and the kind of drama and camaraderie that makes drag culture so unique. This season, viewers can expect a brand-new panel of celebrity guest judges, including Jai Rodriguez ("Queer Eye for the Straight Guy"), Enrique Sapene (host of LATV's "The Q Agenda"), and Emmy Award-winning makeup artist Lushious Massacr.

Co-founder and CCO of Revry, Christopher Rodriguez, emphasizes, "Drag is a celebration of self-expression and authenticity, and this season will showcase even more diversity within the Latine drag community. Get ready for an unforgettable ride!"

A Celebration of Authenticity and Inclusion

Andres Palencia, CEO of Latino Alternative Television, highlights the importance of authentic expression and diversity, stating, "We place such a high value on the authentic expression of diverse communities here at LATV, that's why collaborating with Drag Latina is so perfect. The return of season two of Drag Latina is a reminder that queer joy and inclusion are great for society and business."

"Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE+I) is a very important part of our commitment to providing therapeutic skincare for all," says Jasteena Gill, VP of Marketing at CeraVe. "CeraVe is proud to be partnering with Revry on Drag Latina Season 2 and supporting their mission in highlighting the diverse Latine drag community."

Representation Matters

"Drag Latina" Season 2 goes beyond the glitz and glamour. It delves into the lives of ten drag artists, offering audiences a glimpse into their journeys, struggles, and triumphs, both in and out of drag.

As a bilingual program presented in a mix of English and Spanish, "Drag Latina" transcends language barriers and bridges cultures. It serves as a powerful platform for extraordinary performers to express their creativity, individuality, and unapologetic fierceness.

The success of "Drag Latina" Season 1, with over 1 million viewers tuning in from living rooms, clubs, and bars across the nation, underscores the hunger for authentic and diverse representation.
