A Moment in PR History - Press Release Announcing the National Organization of Women (N.O.W.)

Editor's Note:  Join us on Thursday, March 3rd when The Museum of Public Relations presents PR Women Who Changed History, with special guest, Muriel Fox.

The Museum of Public Relations

In 1966, Muriel Fox, the PR Director for the newly launched National Organization of Women (N.O.W.) issued this press release from the National Press Club in Washington, D.C. Note that Betty Freidan, author of "Feminine Mystique," is one of the two contacts on the release. When the Museum of Public Relations opened in 2014 at Baruch College, Fox presented the Museum with this original release for its archives. It remains one of the most popular items in the entire Museum.
