AMEC Names Richard Bagnall, CEO of PRIME Research UK, to Lifetime Fellowship

Richard Bagnall on stageIn London Thursday, AMEC, the International Association for Measurement and Evaluation of Communication, announced the award of a Lifetime Fellowship to Richard Bagnall, Chief Executive Officer of PRIME Research UK, in recognition of his major contributions to the advancement of communications measurement around the world.Since 1996, Richard has dedicated his career to helping clients demonstrate and generate positive business outcomes through applied public relations research.  Now and throughout his career, he consults with many of the world’s great companies and brands as well government offices and non-government organizations.In receiving the Fellowship, Richard commented, “I am extremely grateful to AMEC, the PR research community and the public relations profession for affording me the opportunity to contribute to their bodies of knowledge. I look forward to continuing the good work of AMEC both individually and through PRIME.”Richard leads PRIME Research UK and is a member of the firm’s Global Leadership Committee.  In 2013, he was appointed by the Cabinet Office as one of only three external reviewers conducting its Digital Communications Capability Review across Government.   His thought leadership is recognized in print, on-line and in conferences around the world.Barry Leggetter, CEO of AMEC, said that the purpose of the AMEC Lifetime Fellowship was to recognize and celebrate accomplished figures “who have made an exceptional and single-minded contribution” to the development of communications research and measurement.  Life Fellows are people who have:

  • Exemplified long-standing leadership as national or international leaders demonstrating innovation and thought-leadership.
  • Made a significant consistent contribution to enhance the work of AMEC through voluntary efforts outside their own company.
  • Shown themselves to be ambassadors who have helped inspire the next generation of leaders to reach the highest heights of excellence.
