Focus Pointe Global Acquires Trotta Associates

Marketing research firm Focus Pointe Global (FPG) announced the acquisition of Trotta Associates, a California-based marketing research company.

The addition of a third location in Southern California, expands FPG’s footprint to 19 research facilities nationwide, making it the largest focus group facilities and services company in the U.S. The acquisition provides a newly-built focus group facility in Los Angeles. FPG plans to transition their current LA location in Santa Monica to the new facility during the first quarter of 2018.

Trotta’s database of research participants will add to FPG’s 1.6 million-member national database, primarily in the Southern California market. “We are excited to welcome the team at Trotta Associates into the FPG family. The combined talent and geographic footprint of FPG and Trotta Associates allows for broader research choices for our current and future client base,” said Laura Livers, Chief Executive Officer of Focus Pointe Global.

FPG leverages new techniques and technologies to make market insights more accessible. Whether it is quick-turn insights or more in-depth research, the company incorporates accepted methodologies with digital solutions, producing actionable results. Post-acquisition research locations include: Appleton (WI), Atlanta (2 locations), Boston, Chicago (2 locations), Columbus, Dallas, Irvine (CA), Kansas City, Los Angeles, Minneapolis, New York, Philadelphia (2 locations), Phoenix, St. Louis, San Francisco, and Teaneck (NJ).

Following the acquisition, the management team will continue to be led by Focus Pointe Global’s Chief Executive Officer, Laura Livers.
