Catherine Hernandez-Blades is senior vice president, chief ESG and Communications officer at Aflac. She served in the CMO and CCO roles simultaneously at two Fortune 500 companies. She is in the inaugural class of the Women in Communications Hall of Fame and the first recipient of the PR Week’s Most Purposeful CCO award.  A PR News Hall of Famer, Forbes Top 50 Most Influential Global CMO, inducted into the PR Week Hall of Femme in 2017, she is the first American to win the Relations 4 the Future Medal at the Communications 4 the Future awards at Davos. The 2019 Latina Style Corporate Executive of the Year, and on The Holmes Report’s 100, she is the 2018 Innovation SABRE recipient for Most Innovative Marketing/Communications Professional – Brand, and PR Week’s 2018 Outstanding In-house Professional of the Year.  She is a four-time Top Woman in PR, and four-time Bulldog Star of PR.
