Social Insight on Fourth #GOPDebate

The fourth GOP debate covered everything from the economy to immigration and foreign policy. Using our social media monitoring and analysis tool, we took a look at the more than 867,000 tweets sent out within a 14-hour time period.Here's a glimpse at what we found from the data:Texas senator Ted Cruz started with 13.3 percent of the total social share of voice, but went on to reach 17.7 percent, beating out Donald Trump by 1.7 percentage points. The increase occurred after Cruz took control of the microphone for 13 minutes and 35 seconds.However, Cruz was not the only candidate who saw gains in social share of voice. Carly Fiorina raised her share of voice by 2.6 percentage points (from 7.4 to 10), while Kentucky senator Rand Paul's performance saw a 7 percentage point increase (from 5 to 12).Want to know which social handles shared the most tweets and which hashtags stood out during the debate?
