Want To Fail The Interview? 5 Ways To Accomplish It.

How to Fail Your Job InterviewWant to fail your interview?  Who would want to do that?  Well I see it all the time.  It's amazing how unprepared candidates can be.  You must get the interviewer on your side so that you can move on to the next step of the process.  You want to be prepared and you don't want to annoy or bother anyone.  Since you will be meeting new people during this process, you don't know what they like and don't like.  This puts even more stress on a candidate.  Here's a list of what candidates do to fail:1.  Not following directions.  Whatever directions you receive, follow them to the letter.  Fill out the application carefully and be careful to spell the company's name correctly as well as any referral names.2.  Not understanding the company/product.  With the internet, it's too easy to find out about the company and their products.  There is no excuse not to know the basics for the first interview.  As you move forward in the process, the company will give you more information and you can research to learn even more.3.  Not asking questions.  The best way to show someone that you are not interested, is to not ask questions.  You want to show someone how you think and what you care about.  You want to have a conversation.4.  Not answering a question.  If you don't know the answer to a question, you can ask for clarification or say you don't know.  When you try to make up an answer, it shows and it won't impress anyone.5.  Not being business-like.  No matter what the company culture or style of the interviewer, you must be professional,  business-like, but not overly friendly.
