The Account Executive directs and facilitates the day-to-day Agency efforts in developing Integrated Marketing Communications on behalf of the Client’s brands through communication of direction and information within the Agency Team. Manages client projects and takes an active role in all disciplines (marketing, creative, media, digital, research, and database) from planning to completion. The AE collaborates with key leaders within the Agency Team to contribute to the excellence of Agency’s output in all areas: marketing counseling/planning, integration across all spheres of brand’s communication (digital, video, print, mobile, social, etc.) creative, and production. The AE is responsible for the on-time completion of assignments and plays an active role in gaining Client approval of Agency work, particularly the creative product.Major Responsibilities and DutiesProduction (employee is responsible if there is no junior account staff)· Monitor and facilitate all production planning, activity and implementation (i.e. timetables, estimates, talent, legal clearance, ad execution, approval, release and follow-up)· Work closely with media group to ensure effective implementation of media plans· Upon request, prepare and present material for Management and Client· Prepare conference and status reports for Product Group and ClientStrategy/Planning· Collaborates with Account team and Planning department in preparation of creative strategies and briefs, marketing recommendations, prospect profiles and brand opportunities· Reviews, analyzes and interprets media and creative output, research reports, Client data and other data relevant to agreed upon Client needs· In collaboration with Account team and Client, develops work plans and realistic timetables for all brands/projectsLeading/Coordinating/Managing· Manages Client requests and expectations to gain clear, actionable Agency direction as part of a continual effort to build a relationship/partnership with key Client contacts· Manages internal processes, ensuring that all members of the Agency Team are well informed of the needs and status of all projects relevant to their department specialization; ensures that all work is completed efficiently and on time· Facilitates creative and production processes – in particular, the information flow to creative from Clients/other departments· Plays a role in ensuring proper and innovative execution of work in all areas of developing integrated marketing communicationResearch/Competitive· Maintains thorough knowledge of the relevant category(ies) and brand(s), including all facets of both the competitive arena and consumer (home/ professional/retail)· Directs preparation of Agency analyses on competitive materials· Draws implications of competitive activity for the Client’s businessClient Interaction· Attend and contribute at client meetings· Capture and disseminate client contact report· Schedule client meetings· Stay involved with selling Agency output, particularly the creative product, to the Client· Manage the Client to gain approvals as necessaryPosition RequirementsMust demonstrate a proven track record of outstanding Client service and relationship building. Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills that demonstrate influence and diplomacy; strategic thinking and advertising/promotional acumen.BA/BS degree with a minimum of 2 years professional experience in advertising (minimum 2 years in Pharma Account where applicable).Experience in healthcare or pharmaceutical integrated marketing communications.Knowledge of full range of marketing communications media (video, print, web, mobile, retail, social, etc.).Team building skills; ability to energize and inspire.Fluent verbal and written English essential; other languages desirable.Interest in digital marketing practices (search, display, digital ecosystem, etc.).· Strong relationship management, organizational and project management skills.· Superior communication skills, both internal and client facing.apply-now-01
