KayAnn Schoeneman Elevated to Executive Vice President at Curley Company

Curley Company, a women-owned and led strategic communications firm, promoted KayAnn Schoeneman from Senior Vice President to Executive Vice President, in recognition of her leadership and contributions to the success of the firm in 2020. KayAnn’s promotion comes at a time of accelerated growth and accolades for the firm. President and CEO Jennifer Curley’s leadership was recognized when she was named 2020 Woman of the Year by Washington Women in Public Relations and the firm was honored as a finalist for PR Week’s “Outstanding Boutique Agency of the Year” for North America. 

KayAnn Schoeneman’s Elevation to Executive Vice President 

In the newly created role of executive vice president, Schoeneman will work closely with Jennifer to provide strategic direction, oversight and management for multiple practice areas and play a critical role in determining the future and long-term success of the agency.

Specifically, KayAnn will be responsible for aligning and mobilizing the firm’s client service activities, overseeing day-to-day client and team-related operations, and ensuring best-in-class results as well as focus on client satisfaction. She will continue to serve as a strategic advisor to and relationship manager for key clients, including expanding the firm’s capabilities in corporate communications and public affairs and will help lead the agency’s business development. 

KayAnn will continue to serve as a member of the firm’s senior leadership team, alongside Jennifer, Denise Kalten, Vice President of Finance and Operations, and Greg Wilson, Senior Vice President.

KayAnn’s career in public relations spans more than 15 years and prior to joining Curley last year, she was Senior Vice President/Washington Marketplace Leader and Director of Public Affairs at Ketchum.
