On this day, we celebrate the late Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. who sacrificed his life in the fight for civil rights. Just days after his assassination, Congress passed the Civil Rights Act of 1968.

September 11 was a defining moment in my life, which made me “rethink” my purpose in life.  Twenty years later I am still living that purpose – “to choose joy every day, to be mindful of that joy and to share that joy with others.”
